Performance artist, former TV and radio host (MTV, PULS4, Mel Merio Live on Radio Energy), event host, DJane, namesake of her own cosmetics line at Rossmann and motivational speaker. Mel Merio is more than just just an extraordinarily talented singer and performer, she is an industry! In 2008 Mel left her hometown Vienna for New York City and found work there as party host, DJane and performance artist. During her stay in NYC she met Larry Tee (Supdermode l- RuPaul), with whom she started to work on her album “Lovemore”. After living in Manhattan and Brooklyn for more than 3 years, Mel decided to go to London where she stayed for one year. With her song "Domino Dancing" cracking the German charts, her song "Hipster Girl" released on the biggest dance label in the US – Ultra Records – she is finally going where she always wanted to go… to be a singer and performer on the stages of this world. With the completion the Album "Lovemore", written and produced by the DREAM TEAM of producers, Larry Tee and Christopher Just, Mel is set to hit the Internet big time with her sophisticated but rocking album that blends the great song sounds of the 80s with the sizzle of todays' French disco, electro, and rock! At this Point she's back in Vienna travelling between Europe and Asia and the US promoting her album, which is being released on her own label.
